ACCCE Loses a Member September 15, 2009 : 5:22 PM

A few weeks ago, I wrote about the scandal involving Bonner & Associates sending fraudulent letters to Congress on behalf of the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity. ACCCE is nothing more than a coal industry Astroturf group and today they are weaker. One of their major partners, Alstom Power, left the coalition.

While ACCCE continues to lobby for dirty energy, Alstom has joined the “U.S. Climate Action Partnership, a coalition of environmental groups, auto companies, utilities, and other corporations that are pushing Congress to pass a cap and trade bill.”

It’s easy to get disenchanted by the legislative process, but slowly and surely we are winning.
