The good news according to The New York Times:
“A consortium of Chinese and American companies announced a joint venture today to construct a massive 600-megawatt wind farm in West Texas . . .”
The bad news:
“…utilizing wind turbines manufactured in China.”
It is great that Texas will be the source of more clean, renewable wind power. However, I want the US to be leading in the field, by manufacturing clean energy equipment for export all over the world.
Right now China exports 95% of its solar components. After building up our green energy infrastructure we can do the same, creating jobs for countless Americans.
